We are planning to move to our new house this coming weekend, so I have spent almost every free minute packing up. We've tried to take a few carloads over each night and several this weekend (including a bunch of junk from the garage--the worst to deal with) but won't make the big move until Saturday. I am getting a U-Haul Friday night for us to load as many boxes and as much small stuff as we can, then we are hiring movers for the big stuff Saturday morning. I am so looking forward to getting settled.
Macauley is enjoying the chaos and has found a number of imaginative uses for all the boxes around. He did this drawing Friday night...I can't remember what all he told me about it, but I do know that's me next to the house, in a swimsuit with little trees and people on it.
