Barb and I made the trip to little Billings on Saturday for
Pheona's Vintage Market. We weren't disappointed. So many lovely things and terrific prices. We each found several little treasures. I'm pretty sure I saw this gray cubby cabinet (already marked sold) at a yard sale outside Billings a month or so ago. I bet whoever bought it at the yard sale got a great deal. What a find.
What I didn't buy but loved: the chair and ottoman upholstered in soft burlap, the large, long cabinet with doors and the shop's cool tshirts. Love those graphics.
We stopped in another little shop across the street from Pheona's and admired these wreaths made from tied strips of burlap. I thought about buying the Mr. and Mrs. pillows but didn't.
We made it through the other flea markets there in Billings and I got a great deal on a really big ironstone pitcher. I thought this hutch would be great in an unfitted kitchen, painted and distressed and really used, not just for display. I thought the big chocolates box would be a great planter.
I also liked the table on the sewing machine base. The swimming device was a curiosity. We headed back to Springfield and had lunch in Republic and stopped at another new, wonderful shop there on the way. Such a fun day with my friend!

It has been a lot of work, but a lot of fun for sure. I heard Springfield has been hot, we have had much needed rain here and it has cooled down. I am finding some great places to find treasures, one is the Green Bean right here in Cumming. I am contemplating going to the Country Living fair in Stone Mountain this October, I have always wanted to go! sounds like you have been enjoying your summer, I think school starts here Aug. 12, that seems early! thanks for stopping by!
