Without any help at all from me, Macauley made a pitcher of a longtime Cowan family favorite this afternoon. The recipe for Orange Julius is simple: Combine 16+ cubes of ice, a can of frozen OJ, a cup of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla in a blender and puree until the perfect texture. He poured us both a big cup and then tried to quell his panic at the announcement flashing across the screen that DirecTV is dropping the Nickelodean channel tomorrow. Surely that can't be true?
