I guess I'm really a grown up. There's just something about this age I turned today that seems, not old, but...established. In my head, I linger down around 24 or so, but on paper...here I am. And it's fine.
Happy Birthday! You look beautiful.....and remember...it's JUST a number. As long as you feel young inside and have a spring in your step...you'll be just fine. I turned 52 this summer and I NEVER thought this was what 52 would feel like! I'm having just as much, or more fun, now than ever. Granted, the partying has changed somewhat but I did some really silly things back in the day and I honestly don't miss the hangovers and the awkward embarrassment of doing silly things. You'll still have a LOT of fun...it's just a bit different. Have a wonderful B-Day!
I hope you had a wonderful day! I know what you mean. I'm more content in my skin then I've ever been but it sure doesn't feel like 35. What's really crazy is that we have known each other for almost 20 years!! Hopefully I'll get to see that beautiful 35 year old face soon. Lots of love, Julie
