More black and white

A few more things from my black and white living room...including this cute little typewriter I found for $6 and a 1930s typing textbook that is filled with all sorts of handwritten notes. I love the graphic quality of it. I also like old rulers and the one in front of the book says "A Good Rule: Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You." For sure.

The big black mirror is Pottery Barn.

The chippy white mirrors are older, picked up here and there. The black starburst mirror is newer and I don't know about the round black one.

I bought this old frame several years ago at The Rose in Rogers, Arkansas, and the tag said it was 100 years old. It was almost falling apart so I did a little repair on the back and it is one of my favorite things.

I just rearranged this wall and it still might need a little tweaking. The two bigger samplers are new; the other pictures are older.

I got this little cabinet at Leola's Antiques (formerly The Seedbox) and I love how they tucked the sheet music behind the shelves. Maybe I should have opened the door for a better picture...

And I love this little dog picture. It says Copyright 1899 but I don't know much more about it other than it is super cute.

Hayley -- I don't know how you do it, then document it here!!! This is such an amazing site, and I haven't even seen it all. Your personal descriptions (with cute photos to boot) are delightful. I'm being pretty lazy except for running the B&B for the family (cooking, shopping, errands). We worked on painting the inside walls of our garage today, but I feel no inspiration to blog about it : ). Anyway, I'm glad you are enjoying your nesting! P.S. Can you tell me how to change my name from Mrs. Satzinger???

Hayley -- As you can see, I figured out the name thing myself, duh!
